The projects
Here you will find more details about the various projects within the programme. A full list of proposals has been drawn up and can be read here.

WC
The top priority is the installation of a WC. There are several options for its location but the favoured it has been decided to install it inside the current vestry. Use the link below to view the architect's initial drawing showing the various options.
Donhead St Andrew
Servery
Refreshments are served after most services and performances. We also think that the inclusion of a servery will allow the church to be more welcoming and accessible to a variety of organisations. It has been decided to construct a severy and additional cupboards at the west end of the church, either side of the font. It is also planned to install some cupboards in the south aisle.
Donhead St Andrew
Heating
The heating in the church is old and no longer adequate for the many events, both liturgical and secular, that are held in the building. It is intended to replace the system. There is a variety of options and a report was commissioned from BJP Consulting Engineers to outline alternatives. Click the link below to read their report. However, it has been decided to replace the overhead heaters with wall-mounted radiant heaters.
St John the Baptist, Hindon
Lighting
Likewise, the lighting in the church is old and no longer satisfactory. Again, there is a variety of options and a report was commissioned from Lux Lucis to outline alternatives. Click the link below to read their report. It has been decided to install a combination of wall-mounted lights and uplighters mounted on the wall plate.
St Katherine, Holt
Font
The Saxon font is the oldest part of the church. It was poorly repaired when it was taken into the building in the 19th century. A survey on its condition, repair and re-location was commissioned from Cliveden Conservation. Click the link below to read their report. It has been decided to repair the font and leave it in situ. We have been granted £1,500 by St Andrew's Conservation Trust towards this project.
St Mary the Virgin, Kingston Deverill
Audio-visual
While the current audio system is useable, it will not meet the needs of the various activities planned for the church. It is intended to upgrade it. It is also planned to install a projector and screen.
